Trying to follow this post, and figure out how to do this on my own, but not getting anywhere. Can someone tell me how I would go about adding a BartsPE CD ISO to the F8 PXE Menu?

Any particular reason why the doc 1434 is now "top secret" and we aren't "authorized to view it"

I think I have been approaching this wrong. I need WinPE to launch and kickoff a different boot.wim file than the one that LANDesk provides so that we can provision a scripted x64 2008 R2 install. Seems like there should be an easier way to do all of this.

in the old winPE it used to be winnt.sif, but im not sure what it is in the new version. maybe its stored in BCD?

Well from what I can gather this is what is supposed to work:

LABEL MDT Builds
COM32 /chain.c32
APPEND fs ntldr=/BOOTMGR

But I get an error message and I'm still not understanding where I can tell it my boot.wim file is located so it can use that to boot.

an iso uses memdisk

it would be like this

LABEL ISO Boot
KERNEL memdisk
APPEND iso initrd=/test.iso

LABEL hdt_iso
LINUX memdisk
INITRD hdt.iso
APPEND iso

ISO didn't work. I ran across this:

LABEL ******
COM32 /boot/chain.c32
APPEND boot ntldr=/bootmgr

Not sure after that were I would tell it my file is located and what it is called.

do you happen to know the command I need to change the kernel to in order for it to boot the ISO? I can try that.

the example i gave is for booting floppy images, you can possibly get away with booting .iso if you have a later version of memdisk, however this will not boot a .wim file. you would have to change the KERNEL to something different, im pretty sure it would be startrom.0 and Append Bootmgr.exe. But i have never booted a .wim file off of pxelinux, however a quick google search shows that it is possible. I am just not familiar with the process right now.
