Description
This document describes the level of support provided for 64 bit platforms.
8.8 Matrix
Core Server
The Core Server is not supported on a 64 bit platform.
Database Server.
64 bit is supported. In fact, it is recommended that when the database server is separate (any time the node count is over 1000 nodes) the database server run on a separate 64 bit server.
Remote 32 bit Console
The Remote 32 bit Console is not supported on a 64 bit platform.
Agent Installation
For Windows XP and Windows 2003 and Vista, LANDesk supports x64 bit hardware as follows:
Y = The component works without obvious issues
N = The component does not work
O = The component works with some limitations

**Scripted install of 64 bit operating systems does not work because LANDesk only has a 32 bit version of Windows PE.

Agent Installation - Just to be clear, I have confirmed from LANDesk support that Intel Itanium x64 is not supported for a few components, specifically Patching. Inventory works though and we have not tested any of the other components for LANDesk.
