Vulnerability Definitions - A number of 3rd party application updates as well as Microsoft Windows KBs were released this week.
Vulnerability ID - PIDGINv251 & Pidgin Latest Release (version 2.5.1)
LANDesk Antivirus definitions are updated hourly. You should have a scheduled task that will automatically update your virus definition throughout the day.
Getting the most out of LANDesk Security and Patch Manager - Blocked Applications

Microsoft will release security bulletins for Patch Tuesday on September 9, 2008. We recommend that customers apply the patch updates to their systems to protect against potential exploits. I have noticed there are not new SUSE 10 vulnerability definitions since December 2007 added to LANDesk patch content. We are using LANDesk Patch Manager to scan for vulnerabilities in SUSE ES 10, and it took us awhile to understand why it never reported any vulnerability back to the core. Why there are not new definitions since last year for SUSE 10?

We are using LANDesk Patch Manager to scan for vulnerabilities in SUSE ES 10, and it took us awhile to understand why it never reported any vulnerability back to the core. Why there are not new definitions since last year for SUSE 10?
