  Question:

If a customer needs to upload a Database to the Touchpaper FTP site and is unsure of how to do so, the information below will guide you through this process:

  Answer:

In order to upload the file to the ftp site, I would recommend that you use Internet Explorer and go to the following internet address:-ftp://ftp.touchpaper.com

You should be able to see a ftproot directory at this point. You may then have to login. if so choose file>login as, tick the check box for logging in anonymously and enter your full e-mail address as the password.

Then browse to the following location      ftp://ftp.touchpaper.com/ftproot/cis/incoming/

Then drag and drop the database backup file onto the browser and it should transfer the file. If you receive any errors please make sure that you are in the correct directory and that there are no restrictions on your fire wall.

Then drop me an e-mail and let me know the exact filename and size, so I can download it and save it to your call.

         Environment:

For uploading Classic and ITBM Databases
