Description
When trying to generate an ID getting error: An AMT password must be set in configure services tool.

Cause
The customer has upgraded their core server to 8.8. In 8.8 the username can only be "admin". The Connecting as username comes from the OOBCredentials table. In 8.7 the Configure Services tool would allow you to set the username to something other than "admin", and the default was "Admin" with a capital "A". At some point the customer either set this 8.7 user to something else or left it as "Admin" and at least one of the machines is now set up to use this when the core tries to talk to them.
In  the OOBCredentials table there is a record that shows the machine in question has "Admin" as its user. HOwever, you can't see this Admin because it's encoded, but you can find the record that has the Hostname field set to the machine that is showing the problem when attempting to do the vPro summary.

Resolution
1. Go into the database and open the OOBCredentials table.
  2. If this is a new install of AMT or there aren't very many machines in this table then you should only have to delete the first two rows.
  3. If there are many computers in this table, delete the row for the computer in question. Next time we attempt to contact the machine it will take the default user of "admin".
