The following information applies to LDMS 8.7 or LDMS 8.8 only. LDMS 9.0 offers LANDesk Antivirus installation as part of the Server Agent Configuration.
Antivirus information is Managed through the Management Suite or Security Suite consoles. It is not available in the Server Manager console.
LANDesk Antivirus is not a selectable component within the Server Agent configuration and is not installed as part of the LDMS Server agent.
LANDesk Antivirus must be installed after the Server Agent is installed using an "Install/Update LANDesk Antivirus" task from the Security and Patch ToolThe Management Suite (Desktop) agent can also be used to manage servers, but it does not have the realtime health and status monitoring offered by the Server agent.
LANDesk Antivirus 9 (SDK 8) is supported on the following Operating Systems:

Still no support for Mac OS X? Kaspersky does have a Mac product, so it shouldn't be all that difficult to include that into the LANDesk product.
