vPro event log shows bad password attempts

VERSION 2

In the vPro event log shows "Authentication failed xx times. The system may be under attack." multiple times.  This can cause vPro to be unresponsive for a a short time.  vPro thinks it is under a password attack it shuts down for a small window of time.

This was caused by the way the password was stored in the registry on the machine.  when it was loaded it was not decrypted properly so the password looked to AMT to be incorrect.

All new LANDesk patches require the LD-88-VCUpdate-08-09 be instaled first.  This can be found here:

The vPro fix (both client and core are zipped) can be found here: AMT-3615888.3-2
