Using feature to install package on next user's login

Hi, all.

Have anyone done software distribuition, using to install package on next user's login option?

I'll migrate LANDesk 8.6 to 8.8 sp1 mainly 'cause  this option hadn't worked. With administrator account, work as well but with mortal user hadn't. And I'd like to know if on this version 8.8 sp1, this option works fine.

Any tip will be very appreciated!!!

Thanks in advanced!!!

Best Regards,

Maria - Siemens Brazil.

I have used it a couple of times in testing and it worked well for me but haven't used it in a live environment yet.

Re: Using feature to install package on next user's login

Hi Maria

I have never used version 8.6 so I cannot comment on the differences. I just created a package that would install on next logon, then logged on with a user with no administrative privileges and it worked.
