Remove client from LANDesk console

I am sure this is an easy question but I dont have much experience with LANDesk at the moment.   I have several clients that their hard drive had failed or are no longer here that I need to remove from the LANDesk console.  They're still showing up in LANDesk Management Suite console.

How do I manually remove these clients?

Re: Remove client from LANDesk console

From the 32 Bit Console, right click and select remove.

From the WebConsole, right click and select target, and then in the bottom pane, remove/delete

If you are having trouble deleting the devices, for example, you delete them but they don't delete, read this article:

Unable to delete nodes from the LDMS Console.

Re: Remove client from LANDesk console

You can automate this process too.  Using the console installed on your Core Server, go to Configure - Services, and on the Inventory tab you can set the number of days to keep scans before deletion.  If the inventory record hasn't been updated in that amount of time, the system will automatically delete it.  Also check out the duplicate deletion; since you have systems that are being rebuilt, if they retain the same MAC address and/or machine name, the old record can automatically be deleted too.
