I'm having a problem with some older tasks that are running again on PCs.
The Task IDs don't show up in the Console or in the SQL Server (but they are on an older version of the DB), but new logs are being created on the clients for these tasks.
This is causing some service accounts to continuously lock out since some clients are looking for packages files that do not exist anymore.
We can't figure out a way to stop these tasks from running either and it seems like they aren't running on previously scheduled machines either.
Any help would be appreciated and let me know if you need additional information.
I would try one of the MCP patches, however, I don't think it will help. I had same issues with 8.8 where a deleted task continued to run. Are these LSTs (local scheduled tasks)? When you say (but they are on an older version of the DB) is this the local cleint Slqlite db or the Core's db. I would isolate the information in the local sqlite db (PolicyTaskInformation) on the clients and script up an Autoitscript to whack those entries.
