Odd question here. I am trying to add some new network groups to the Agent Configuration that will allow people in those groups to remote control clients. When I click on the add button and select the proper domain I only see users. Not a single group is displayed. We have a multi-domain environment and I can see groups for the other domains but nothing for the domain I need. The agent configuration is using Windows NT Security and the domain controllers are Server 2008 r2 if that matters. What really has me flumoxed is that I can go into Directory Manager and see the same groups I can't see under the agent permissions. Am I missing something obvious?
Have not used NT Security in a long time, so I went in and created a new AC and selected NT Security and selected ADD, Selected my Domain and it churned for a while and then gave me a blank list. So we have a gazilllion objects and I'm guessing that it can't enumerate all the user/group objects.
So you can type the domain\username in the field Inserted Names: and select ok.
Our AD Environment is big but not huge. About 5000 end users and 5500 nodes on the network. I wouldn't think that would cause the issue. I can see the users but not a single group in the domain. I will call support to see why this is.
