Adding Groups to Remote Control for Agents

Odd question here.  I am trying to add some new network groups to the Agent Configuration that will allow people in those groups to remote control clients.  When I click on the add button and select the proper domain I only see users.  Not a single group is displayed.  We have a multi-domain environment and I can see groups for the other domains but nothing for the domain I need. The agent configuration is using Windows NT Security and the domain controllers are Server 2008 r2 if that matters.  What really has me flumoxed is that I can go into Directory Manager and see the same groups I can't see under the agent permissions.  Am I missing something obvious?
