Do you have this on Core Server and/or Remote Consoles? What's written in the Console.exe.log in the managementsuite\log map on the server?
Also check if your database is running and available.
This is happening on the core server, I have attached the console.log.
The database is up and I have profiled it and can see traffic hitting the database when I try and login.
You have a webexception in your log. Can you check if IIS is running on your Core Server and reset it if it is? Also check if you have any proxy settings enabled in IE. These might cause your Console to not reacht his own IIS. Finally, check the 2 LANDesk Com+ Components and see if these are running and can be stopped and started.
IIS is running and I can browse the web services.
I have checked there are no proxy settings enabled in IE
Can you confirm what the 2 Landesk Com+ components are? i'm not familiar with these.
I have also just tried reinstalling everything but get the same error.
So you are saying this is a fresh install? The 2 LANDesk components can be found under Administrative tools, Component Services, Com+. There is a LANDesk and LANDesk1 component. Both should run under domain credentials so that AD information ca be read by LANDesk when authenticating and such.
If this is a fresh install, did you install all additional roles and feautures as required by the LANDesk setup?
Yes this is a fresh install.
I have checked the two Landesk components and they are setup exactly as I have them on another environment configured in the same way and I can login on that server correctly.
However I have tried changing them to use a doamin account but still cannot login.
What additional roles and features do you mean? I have followed the same process as previous when installing the application.
I have figured it out, the https binding in IIS was bound to the wrong certificate.
I have resolved the binding issue now and I am able to login fine, thanks for your suggestions.
Markmanfredi, How did you go about resolving the binding issue? We are seeing the same sympotms, not able to login to the LANDesk Console. We just installed System Center 2012 Virutal Machine manager 2012 and I think it is the root cause.
