The problem i am facing is on the client machine,
PXE-E32: TFTP open time out error.
When i saw this one in net they are telling to check weather the TFTP service is on or not.
Actually iam not able to find out the TFTP service on the core server machine...
please help me to sort out this error.....
can you tell me how to deploy PXE representive and PXE on the server machine.?
is there any documents for this configurations??
i am using landesk 9 sp2...
Ok no prob,
Check out tools / distribution / OS Deployment / All other scripts. There you'll find a script called "PXE Representative Deployment" which you can schedule
After that you will have a pxe representative but don't install it on the core
I will look after doc for pxe deploy.
Do your representative deploy script run done ?
When you boot a PC, do you lauch it from Inboard nic ?
Do you have to press the F8 key to acces the PXE menu or do you have the error before ?
Is that the name of your core? If so, can you ping it from WinPE using exactly the name as shown in the image? If not, that indicates DNS is not configured properly to work with that hostname. Can you ping it by a fully qualified domain name? Can you ping it by IP Address explicitly?
This is just a basic network connectivity problem. Your client can't talk to your core. Once we find out how to talk to the server we can make whatever change is necessary to embed that change into the WinPE image.
Now that error got solved,i dont now how that got solved...
Now the problem is after loading the image file like boot.wim and i will get the above screen which i have mentioned in previous post after that the image is not getting installed and i am getting the blank screen(i.e background of the above image).
it is not showing any error and i waited nearly half and hour but no error.
can u have any idea why it is behaving in that manner..
