Remote Control Viewer - Credentials Required

 

 

 

 

 

Hi all,

 

 

I 'am pretty new with landesk. We recently upgrades from 8.5 tot 8.8. When we try to connect with remote control viewer we always get the credentials screen. Is there a WORKAROUND so we don't have to insert the administrator credentials.

What Security Type are you using (NT, Integrated, etc...)? The upgrade resets the com+ credentials to the default. If you have modified them then you will need to change the credentials.

This error can happen if you have multiple NIC's in your LANDesk server. LANDesk does not support having multiple NIC's unless they are teamed.
