I am using LANDesk 9 Service Pack1. I tried to connect to a PC today and recieved the error "Can't contact remote computer using LANDesk PDS2 discovery." I read a couple articles that said to make sure ports 9595 and 9535 are not blocked. When I scan the ports, I see 9535 is open and no listing for 9595. I scanned a machine that I had just remoted into and the same ports were listed: 9535 was there and 9595 was not.
Does anyone have more information as to why I may be recieving this error?
I got the same issue.
Some logs which I looked said PDS not loaded properly.
So I re-run the cba8inst.msi file at C:\Program Files\LANDesk\LDClient following which I can take remote.
