In LANDesk Management Suite 9.0SP2, LANDesk has removed the ability to select IP/DNS from the LDMS console under "Configure" > "Agent Status Options."
I have absolutely no idea why they would remove such a useful feature.
In addition, I have verified with LANDesk that their "improved" interface come with a broken DNS interrogator.
So, if you have short lease times (many of our subnets do) you end up with multiple devices that all report to be on as they all have the same IP Address.
Is anyone else running into this frustrating problem...or am I the only one?

I just upgraded to 9.0SP2 recently.
I got the exacty same problem.
Some devices appears as if they were on but in fact they are not but because console thinks they are up I cant even wake them up because option wake up is grayed out. That realy sucks.
Until LANDesk fix this there isnt a great deal you can do. However, on the waking up of devices you should try our Wake-On-WAN plugin. This will give you right-click wake-up capability (the free bit) whether LANDesk believes the machine is online or not.
