I'm trying to deploy an image to a group of machines, but several have had their onboard NICs go bad and have been replaced with 3rd party PCI cards. Whoever replaced them apparently didn't get a card that supports PXE boot.
The machines have already had their drives wiped, so there is no OS to boot into. Is there a way to deploy an image without having network connectivity to the LDMS?
Yes, you can build provisioning boot media, look at the icons available in the provisioning window. It does still expect to have a network connection, but you should be able to connect to a USB resource that contains the imaging tool and a copy of your image. Unfortunately, you won't get any HII benefits since it will expect to download drivers, so perhaps you just get them to a basic level, manually install an agent and then push a job to them.
