I have an MSI package that I am installing (it requires a reboot after install to run correctly). I am using a policy-supported push. I copied the standard policy-supported push delivery method and made one change, I selected 'Always Reboot' in the Reboot section. Now it will install, reboot, install, reboot, install, reboot ad infinitum.
If I change to the standard policy-supported push delivery method, it installs just fine.
Am I doing something wrong, the package said to select Reboot in the delivery method rather than in the distribution package...
Double-check the install/uninstall options of the package and make sure it is set to "Do not restart after the installation is complete". You want the delivery method to control the reboot, not the package.
@cplatero, the packages IS set to 'Do not restart after the installation is complete' and it still goes into the infiinte boot loop. If I select in the delivery method to only reboot if if needed, then it won't ever reboot.
