I have been successful with this in 8.8 but in testing 9.0 I receive the following message when trying to reboot a PC using a console redirection.
"The currently logged on user does not have rights to access the core server....."
At the top of the remote window I receive a "Core access denied" message.
I was the "administrator", installer of LDMS90. I am logged in as the same. I am a member of the local administrators group as well as the LANDesk Administrators group. I am using integrated security for my client. (which is what I am using in 8.8 with no permissions problems.
I tried Local Template and it does the same thing.....
Remote Control security you are using should not change anything that is only when the client is in the OS.
On the core server or console machine you are testing from there is a amtconfigdll.log file in the users temp directory. From the run line %temp% that may show some errors in it.
If you want you can attach the log or errors in it
