Not near a core right now, what SP are you running because this sounds like the old AMP error message. With the latest SP - 2 AMP was removed and this error should not be happening. See this note http://community.landesk.com/support/docs/DOC-11771 & http://community.landesk.com/support/docs/DOC-8990
If you are not on SP2 I would upgrade since AMP is a hog.
We're not on SP2 yet, but as regards those two links - I can browse to the page on the second without trouble, and on the first link I tried the steps without any luck. Perhaps an SP2 upgrade is the only option, weird why this has just started happening though.
Well to be honest we can troubleshoot your current issue, however, I would suggest you spend this time on planning and testing an upgrade to SP2. There are numerous fixes and enhancements, and usually if you have an issue upgrading to the latest SP is recommended by support. Plus you get rid of AMP and this will give your 400-500 Mbs of memory for your core. I am with ZMAN, move to SP2 as quickly as you can along with the MCP's. The version you are working with not only is a hog as ZMAN states, but it is so full of bugs.... Run don't walk! (Do test)
Also agree with this. The Avocent Management Platform was a bad thing to come out of LANDesk being owned by Avocent. Get rid of it as soon as you (safely) can.

You should do a test migration to LDMS 9.0 SP2 as soon as reasonably possible and move off the AMP platform. Depending on your hardware and OS Configuration this can take considerably more than a couple of minutes to start up.
