First, I don't recommend loading drivers you will never use. In you example you referenced a WinPE driver pack that could include a number of drivers you do not need. It may take some extra time to initialize devices in winpe and will also increase the size of your boot.wim. It also increases the complexity of updating/changing drivers. That being said, you can add drivers using dism which is located in the vboot directory on the core. The command are as follows:
Run from command line in directory path C:\Program Files (x86)\LANDesk\ManagementSuite\landesk\vboot:
DISM /Mount-Wim /WimFile:boot.wim /index:1 /MountDir:c:\mounthere
DISM /image:c:\mounthere /add-driver /driver:c:\drivers /recurse
DISM /Unmount-Wim /MountDir:c:\mounthere /Commit
This will add driver and they will show up on the edit list in LANDesk. They will be auto named making it a bit more difficult to troubleshoot and find specific drivers later on.
Thanks for the help. The issue is our LANDesk core is used by huge varienty of different models since we're at a university and different groups use OSD and Provisioning for different machines so it's hard to exclude drivers.
You will also need a copy of dism to do that. It can be found inside the boot.wim file. You could copy the exe and supporting dlls from there to the core.
